The Verdon is a attractive destination for those in search of escape and resourcing, it is a territory where the softness of life, nature and the wealth of heritage call to set off on roads or bike paths.
Our camping Verdon is labelled Accueil vélo (veloloisirprovence). We offer you services such as lending of table and chairs, provision of repair kit, secure shelter, meeting room with fireplace, … Information on the different routes.
You will be able to make a peaceful stopover at the La Source campsite with its direct access to all the shops in the village but also to the different hiking in the Verdon, different voices of rock climbing and its direct access to the beach.
Choose well your mount to ride the small routes and paths of the Verdon. Mountain bikes and hikers are recommended for the majority of the routes, and a good mountain bike, preferably all suspended, will be indispensable on often stony paths. Of course electric assistance will be appreciated to soften an often steep relief!
The Verdon is characterized by an exceptional landscape diversity : lakes, gorges, plateaus, valleys, hills, pine and oak wooded hills.
You can follow the road book proposed by Véloloisirprovence which is divided into 4 sectors:
Starting from the campsite, the fans of the running or the walking sports will be able to enjoy their practice in a dream setting… And follow the routes of the the famous Natureman triathlon for example.
The paths of the camping at the edge of the lake of Sainte Croix, the sports course, the GR which joins Bauduen or Aiguines are also paths of pure pleasure for the race practice, the race practice, the race practice or the trail.
